Community Projects
Volunteers are vital to Blackburn Center's mission to end violence. If your company, school, church or community group is interested in helping us, we have several options available:

Product/Fundraising Drive: this opportunity is our greatest need and can be held in a variety of spaces — including at your office or school! Have fun with your fellow volunteers by creating your own fundraising event (such as a dress-down day or potluck lunch) or product drive benefitting Blackburn Center. Check out our Needs List for our most current needs.

Group Volunteer Outings: we occasionally have a need for a large number of volunteers — such as staff for our Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event. If your group would like to participate in a volunteer event, contact us to discuss options.

Participation in Blackburn Center events: we love having groups at our events! We see many groups at Walk A Mile In Her Shoes, from school groups to company groups to community organizations and families. Keep an eye on our events page for details on upcoming events!
