You may have noticed a few changes around here…like our completely redesigned and reconfigured website! Thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County, we were able to modernize our website to make it more accessible and easier to use.
With this new design, anyone who needs our help can find out how to get it in just a few clicks. We’ve included many new features, including a blog, an online volunteer application, event registration, and a search function. Our microsite, Media Hurts, has been integrated into this website, so that your experience is as seamless as possible. Many thanks to the Community Foundation for funding this project, and to ieInteractive Services for helping us to design and implement the site. And of course, our greatest thanks must go to all of those who have supported our mission over the years, and who help to sustain the wide range of services that are currently available at Blackburn Center through their contributions.
Grant funding for this project was provided by The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County’s Richard King Mellon/Community Foundation of Westmoreland County Impact Fund which seeks to provide Capacity Building support for Westmoreland organizations.
